The Pacific Ocean ~**~ El Océano Pacífico

It's been raining and it's cold in Santa Barbara, and I long for bike rides to the beach in a sunny afternoon.

Looking through some of my recent photos, I found this one that I took about two weeks ago. I went with La Pajarita to Arroyo Burro Beach and walked to up the bluffs in the Douglas Family Preserve...now looking at this pic I can only smile and think of these verses by the poet Arthur Rimbaud.

Ha estado lloviendo y hace frio en Santa Barbara y tengo morriña de montar en bici en un soleado mediodía para ir a la playa.

Mientrás miro algunas de las últimas fotos que he tomado, encontré ésta que tome hace como dos semanas. Fui con La Pajarita hasta la playa de Arroyo Burro y despues subí a pasear hasta los acantilados del área de tierra preservada de la Douglas Family Preserve...y ahora mirando esta foto sonrio pensando en estos versos del poeta Arthur Rimbaud.

La hemos encontrado.
¿El qué? ––La Eternidad.
Es el mar fundido
Con el sol.
