Santa Barbara Tweed Ride

La Pajarita and I are having so much fun together! Our latest adventures have involved us in participating in the many events organized by Santa Barbara CycleMAYnia. This is us coming back home after the Tweed Ride on Sunday. La Pajarita won first price to oldest women bicycle!

La Pajarita y yo nos lo estamos pasando genial juntas! Nuestras últimas aventuras van unidas a los eventos de CycleMAYnia en Santa Barbara. Aqui estamos las dos de regreso a casa después de la salida en grupo con el tema de bicis y ropa tweed (de lana, con cuadritos, al estilo ingles). Ah, por cierto, La Pajarita ganó el primer premio a la bicicleta de mujer más antigua!

Stop to smell the flowers! ~**~ Parate a oler las flores!

One of the benefits from being unemployed is that I literally have time to smell the flowers! The spot where I took this photo is in Modoc Street's bike lane. I use this bike route to get to the Foodbank where I volunteer twice a week.

Uno de los beneficios de estar en el paro es que literalmente tengo tiempo de pararme a oler las flores! Esta foto esta tomada en el carril para bicicletas de la calle Modoc. Utilizo esta ruta para llegar al Foodbank, donde soy voluntaria dos veces por semana.

My new light ~**~ Mi luz nueva

I'm so happy with my new light! It's chrome, LED run by batteries and it has a sensor that activates it when it's dark. It's so cool! I got it at the Bike Stand in Santa Barbara. I love going to Baron' store, he is friendly and knows so much about bicycles. It's always a wonderful learning experience!

Estoy tan contenta con mi nueva luz! Es de cromo, de luz halogena, lleva un sensor que la activa cuando oscurece y funciona con pilas. Es chulisima! La compre en la tienda Bike Stand en Santa Barbara. Me encanta ir a la tienda de Baron; siempre es tan amable y sabe tanto de bicis! Cada vez que visito su tienda aprendo algo nuevo!
